Described as a “Premium Semi-Dry White Table Wine”, I didn’t really find anything dry or splendorous about it. This cheap Michigan wine was bland and tasted a little too much like flowers to me, not so much the apple and peach that the bottle describes.
On a positive note, Leelanau Cellars is a wonderful place. I was there this last summer. The vineyard was beautiful and the winemakers and employees that worked in the tasting room were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting if in the northern Michigan area. You can pick up a lot a good, cheap wine on a trip on the Leelanau Penninsula.
This wine is just not for me. I will look forward to trying some of their other selections. I don’t really have much more to say about this one. I could hardly finish the one glass I poured of it.
