Cavit Pinot Noir 2002

Well, after another long, hard night at work, I, like many people, feel the need to calm the nerves with a nice, cheap bottle of wine. For this very reason, I keep a 4-pack of these mini bottles in my drawer. Cavit Pinot Noir comes with 187ML in each bottle (if you buy the four pack).

Why this wine? Mostly because the conveinent 4-pack fits in my drawer.

Tasting Notes:
Nothing spectacular. An enjoyable Italian Pinot Noir. Dark cherry aromas, and somewhat spicy. Very “traditional” tasting. I like this wine, but it isn’t as tasty as the Twin Fin I reviewed a few days back. I’ll probably try something new after I finish the other three still in my drawer. For now, I’ll give it the official “Cheap Wine to Keep at the Office” award. Congrats Cavit.

Price: $9.99 for the mini 4-pack.
Rating: 6.5/10
Enjoyed with: The soft, warm glow of a computer monitor within the confines of my cubicle in a deserted office.

Cavit also makes a cheap Pinot Grigio that is worth a try.

I like it. A little tarter and its not the best I have had but hell I’m only 14. I like wine, its a very good choice.

Yes, the pinot grigio is definitely worth trying.

This was the worst wine I’ve ever tasted. A friend offered me a glass and the first thing I did was smelled it. It smelled like feet. That turned me off. Then I took a sip and it was the most awful tasting wine I’ve ever had. But because I was standing in front of my friend talking to him I had to continue drinking it acting casual. On my ride home after I thought I would have to pull over to vomit. It was that bad.

This wine is alright, nothing stands out good or bad. Worth buying for a large number of guests for the price or to drink it the way the Argentine’s drink their wine: with a bit of ice.

I don’t know. I have the Pino Noir 2007 and it just doesn’t do it for me. Maybe it’s the 12% alcohol by volume, but it just doesn’t have the bite that I enjoy.

I love wine but it doesn’t love me. I often experience asthma symptoms. While this wine is not THE best tasting Pinot noir I’ve tried, It wasn’t bad and It was the first one that didn’t leave me wheezing! I will definitely buy it again.

Not the best tasting by any means, but the 12% does it for me…

not very good. went and got a 5$ bottle of another wine with a higher alcohol content and it tasted better and smoother. its only the second wine I’ve tasted, so I am in no way an aficionado. Just my 2 cents.
